Lois Jeanne Plisowski passed away on January 28, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She was born on March 26, 1933, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Chester and Mildred Coulter.

Jeanne's life was marked by dedication and hard work. She began her career in the 1960’s at Dutoit Construction and was a founding member of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC). She later worked for decades as a tax preparer and quickly rose to the role of office manager for H&R Block, where she worked until 1993. She concluded her working life at Southwestern Bell until her retirement in 2012. She was admired for her hard work and her fierce support of her friends and coworkers.

Jeanne enjoyed travel and learning about other cultures. Throughout her life, she explored most of the continental United States and Hawaii. She also took multiple trips to Great Britain and Europe. She would either travel with family, tour groups, or venture off on her own without fear, because she felt that meeting new people was the best part of the adventure. In her later years, she could often be seen rooting for the KC Mavericks hockey team with her daughter Linda and her family.

Jeanne was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Frank Plisowski, daughter Linda Moore, son Nicholas Plisowski and wife Dolly, grandson Matthew Moore and wife Melissa, granddaughter Samantha Plisowski and great-grandsons William Moore and Michael Moore.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that contributions be made in Jeanne’s name to the Friends of the Golden Regiment (500 SW South Avenue, Number 712, Blue Springs, MO 64014).

Jeanne has now departed from this world, leaving behind cherished memories that will be forever engraved in the hearts of those who loved her. Her unwavering spirit, infectious laughter, and boundless affection will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her
