Lois Edna Stewart, 94 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 at Parkway Senior Living in Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 3, 2024 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Private burial will follow in Swan Lake Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Saturday at the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the American Heart Association. Lois was born April 15, 1929 in Elm Store, AR to Joseph Elmer and Miranda Victoria (Ivey) Stark. She spent her early life in Arkansas and moved to the Kansas City area in 1955. She was a beloved wife, mother and homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed fishing, quilting, crocheting, playing games and talking with family and friends on the phone. She was a member of the Downtown Church of Christ. Survivors include; 3 sons, Eric Stewart and wife Linda of Blue Springs, MO, Darryl Stewart and wife Kelly of Pueblo, CO and Bruce Stewart and wife Debbie of Windsor, MO; 2 brothers, Coy Stark and wife Wanda and Jim Stark and wife Debbie all of Mammoth Springs, AR; 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Franklin Stewart in 2017, infant daughter in 1958, 3 brothers, and a sister.
