Willie Mae "Billie� Long, 93, of Independence, MO passed away, Wednesday, February 22, 2006. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 24, 2006 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Mound Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday evening at the chapel. Donations to the South Crysler Restoration Branch. Billie was born August 31, 1912 in Escatawpa, MS to Charles R. and Annie (Porter) Mizell. She had worked as a bookbinder for the Herald House Publishing for a number of years retiring in 1975. She was married to Clifford Long in 1975, he passed away in 1997. Survivors include; a son, James Thomas Gaughf, Jr. and his wife Ingrid of Miami Lakes, FL; a sister, Mary Ellen Scott of Independence, MO; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Thomas Gaughf and Benjamin Joseph Gaughf and a step grandson, Derek James Webb. She was preceded in death by her first husband James Thomas Gaughf, Sr. and 11 siblings.
