Nick C. Loss

Nick C. Loss, 86, of Independence MO, passed away Sunday, August 3, 2003, at St. Luke�s Northland Hospital. Cremation. A 2:00 pm Memorial service will be Wednesday August 6, 2003 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to The Temple Fund, 1001 W. Walnut, Independence, MO 64050-3562 or the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720. Nick was born February 10, 1917 in Ellwood City, PA to Feodossi and Mary (Maximo) Loss. Mr. Loss is survived by his wife of 60 years, Velta (Rhoads) of the home, son Nick Loss Jr. and wife Linda of Wichita, KS, grandsons Kevin Loss of Wichita, KS and Christopher Loss of Tiapei, Taiwan, and a great-grandson Francis Loss. Also surviving are sisters Helen Cathcart of Cambridge Springs, PA, Mary Busch of Crown Point, IN and Elsie Loss of Kansas City, MO.
