Ivan Lee Lovell

Ivan Lee Lovell of Independence, MO passed away Monday March 7, 2022, he was 77 years of age.
Ivan was born on November 26, 1944, in Kansas City, MO, the son of Arthur Ivan and Wilmuth Lorene (Williams) Lovell.
Ivan attended and graduated from East High School, where he met his best friend and love of his life Judith. The pair were married March 13, 1963, in Independence, MO. From their union came two children.
Ivan worked as a steel worker for Armco Steel for 33 years before retiring in 1999. He was a lover of bass fishing and family camping trips. One of his favorite spots was their country property and out on the lake. He loved his dogs and his old westerns and war movies and maybe a hallmark movie or two. An avid baseball fan and he even played well into his twenty’s. Ivan loved road trips with his beloved Judy and to just jump in the car and go for a drive. Above all Ivan loved his family and his grandchildren were by far his most cherished and they cherished him. Ivan will be profoundly missed.
Ivan is survived by his children, Aaron Lovell, Nikki (Lovell) Rutland and her husband Marty Rutland; grandchildren, Ivan Ryan Lovell, Hayden Lee Lovell, Jada NicoleAnn Rutland, and Jacob Clifford Rutland. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 plus years, Judith Kathleen Lovell; and his parents Arthur Lovell and Wilmuth Lovell.
