Shellie Lynne Lowry

Shellie Lynne Lowry, 46, of Independence, MO, passed away May 9, 2017. A visitation will be held Saturday, May 13th from 3-5:00pm at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO 64055. Shellie was born September 3, 1970, in Kansas City, MO to Michael and Linda (Sigloch) Sutton. After graduating from high school, Shellie served for 10 years active duty in the United States Army. An avid sports fan, you could often find Shellie at a MO Maverick’s game or cheering for KU or her Royals. She was a loving caretaker, wife, mom and friend. Shellie is survived by her husband, Gary of the home; daughter, Shelbie Johnson of Independence, son, Alec Hoffman of Independence; granddaughter, Maddison Buxton of Independence; sisters, Stacie Burks and her husband, Farris of Independence, Stephannie Shannon and her husband, Shawn of Blue Springs, Wendie Peters and her husband, Ed of Sibley, MO, and Christie Hall and her husband Anthony of Buckner, MO; stepdaughter, Marsha Rubin of Kearney, MO and stepson, Mike Lowry of Springfield, MO.
