Ai Vinh Lu, 76, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away October 5, 2016. A visitation will take place from 5-8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 8, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 9, at the Suburban Chapel. Burial will be held at Longview Memorial Gardens. Ai was born May 19, 1940 in Vietnam to Hien and Muoi (Lac) Lu. He is survived by his loving wife, Lang Lu; step-mother, Co Muoi; children, Nang Lu, Tom Lu, David Lu, Sam Lu, Vicky Lu, Terre Lu-Loffelbein and Thien Lu; granddaughters, Cassie Lu, Ashley Loeffelbein, Savana Loeffelbein, Valerie Lu and Tracy Lu; grandsons, Ryan Lu, Michael Lu, Kelvin Lu, Brandon Nguyen, Derrick Pham, Colton Loeffelbein and Jimmy Loeffelbein; brothers, Phat Vinh Lu, Duc Vinh Lu, Martin Lu, Chieu Vinh Lu, Khai Vinh Lu; sisters, Kim Le Lu, Nhan Le Lu, Kien Le Lu; mother, Co Muoi; son-in-law, James Loeffelbein; daughters-in-law, Denise Lo, Van Q Lu, Lan Lu and Sharen Lu; brothers-in-law, Simon Phung, Thauh Minh Hua and Hai Ky Hung; sisters-in-law, Muoi Hua and Helen Phung. He was preceded in death by his first mother, Lac Muoi; second mother, Duong Thi; father, Lu Hien; three brothers, Xuong Vinh Lu, Thai Vinh Lu and Chi Vinh Lu; and two sisters, Dung Le Lu and Hoa Le Lu.
