William A. ""Bill"" Ludwig

William “Bill” Ludwig, 86, of Overland Park, KS (formerly of Blue Springs, MO) passed away May 30, 2016. A visitation will be held from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 2, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association. Bill was born March 9, 1930 in St. Louis, MO. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Bill was an accomplished golfer, who was inducted into the Missouri Golf Hall of Fame in 2008. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Ludwig; and daughter, Victoria Ludwig. He is survived by one son, William A. “Bud” Ludwig, Jr. and wife Ann; two granddaughters, Carissa Rushing and Jessica Walker; and nephew, William “Bill” Jarvis of St. Louis, MO.
