Michael Lull, 49 of Independence passed away, Thu. Jun 28, 2007 at KU Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 am, Tue. Jul 3, 2007 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St. Indep. MO. Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 7 �" 8:30 pm Monday at the chapel. Contributions are suggested to the Cancer Instutite, c/o KU Med Center, 3901 Rainbow, KCKS 66160. Michael was born on Nov. 6, 1957 to Charles and Patricia Lull in Kansas City, MO. He had been an Operating Engineer with Medical Plaza Partners for 27 years. Michael was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son and brother who enjoyed Motorcycling, Scuba Diving, Bowling, playing Golf and shooting Pool. He was a member of the Ararat Shrine and it’s Provost Club and Operating Engineers Local 101. He was past master of Mt. Washington Masonic Lodge, an Eagle Scout and received his Hardway Warrior in the tribe of Mic-o-Say. He was a member of Mt. Calvary United Methodist Church and had sung in the Choir and with the Praise Singers, He was the church auditor, a former Sunday School Teacher and served on the Administrative Board. Michael enjoyed playing football with the Kansas City Storm and Softball for the Cancer Institute. He was a 1975 graduate of Van Horn High School and had attended Finley Engineering College. He was a proud veteran of the US Marines serving from 1975 �" 1977. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Charles Lull in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Norberta Lull of Independence. Two daughters, Aimee Lull of Bonner Springs, KS and Tara Lull of Independence. Two stepdaughters, Brandy Peek of Blue Springs and Sondra Cunningham of Independence. His mother, Patricia Lull of Kansas City, MO; brother, Mark Lull of Granite City, IL; two sisters, Jan Smith and Cheryl Bristow, both of Independence. Two grandchildren, Noah Custer and Emma Whisenant; three step-grandchildren, Chance Cunningham, Daniel Cox, Shaelynn Cox and many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
