Glenna L. Lunceford, 82, passed away on July 24, 2018, at St. Luke's East Hospital. Glenna was born May 16, 1936, to Truman and Maxine Record, was a 1954 graduate of William Chrisman High School, and a lifelong resident of Independence. Glenna was a REALTOR for over 50 years and a past recipient of Salesman of the Year and many other awards. She had memberships in the Independence Young Matrons, Independence Woman's Civic Club, Swinging Oaks Square Dance Club and Jaycee Wives. Glenna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glenn; and son, Mark. She is survived by a son, Jeff (Sherl) of Topeka, Kan., and grandchildren, Brian and Jolee; a grandson, Tyler, and great-granddaughter, Amyla, of Austin, Texas; granddaughter, Nicole Portzen (Adam), and great-grandchildren, Colton and Clayton Gregory and Kenzi e Portzen, of Harrisonville, Mo. Surviving siblings are Gerald Record (Regine), Albuquerque, N.M., Jackie Fairbanks (Jim), Blue Springs, and David Record (Ellen), Independence; and numerous nieces and nephews.Glenna enjoyed entertaining family and friends, and was known by her Christmas slush. She loved to cruise with her 'Farkle' family.
