Margie Luper, 74 of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2006 at her residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 4, 2006 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday at the chapel. Margie was born September 13, 1932 in Kansas City, MO to Robert and Helen (Norman) Clark and has been a lifelong area resident. Margie was a homemaker, wife and mother to her children. She enjoyed baking, quilting, traveling and all children. She was a member of the Sycamore Hills Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Max Luper of the home; 2 daughters, Helen Easley of Oak Grove, MO and Pam Middleton of Blue Springs, MO; 2 sons, Stephen Luper of North Kansas City, MO and Larry Luper of Independence, MO; 3 sisters, Betty Davis of Climax Springs, MO, Judy Burns and Sharon Castor of North Kansas City, MO; 3 brothers, Bob Clark of Kansas City, KS, Frank Clark of Overland Park, KS and Ronnie Clark of Kansas City, KS; 16 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Margie was preceded in death by; a daughter, Judy Edwards in 1993; 3 sons, Gary Luper in 1994, James Michael Luper in 1989 and Harvey Eugene Luper in 2005; a sister, Eunice Simpson and 2 brothers, Rudy Norman and Tommy Clark.
