Jessie Marie Lynch

Jessie Marie Lynch, 84 of Independence passed away Thu. Jul 20, 2006 at the Regency Care Center. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Tue. Jul 25, 2006 at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm, Monday at the Carson- Speaks Chapel with the Rosary being said at 7 pm. Mrs. Lynch was born on Oct 26, 1921 to Joseph and Lula (Pope) Henley in Kansas City, MO. She had been a comptroller for Sears, retiring in 1984. Jessie was a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed playing cards, music, dancing and traveling with family and friends. She loved sports and had supported her family in various events and activities. She was a member of the Nativity of Mary Catholic Church and the American Legion Post 21 Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of over 54 years, Charles Lynch. She is survived by a son, Larry Lynch of Independence; a daughter Cindy Smith and husband Doug of Springfield, MO. Two grandchildren Sara Smith and Scott Smith. A sister, Mildred Young of Independence, MO; two brothers-in-law, Herbert Lynch of Raymore, MO and Frank Pierce of Sun City, AZ. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
