Maxine May Lynch (Sullivan)

May 28, 1922 — July 14, 2016

Maxine May Lynch, 94, of Lee’s Summit, MO, died peacefully among loved ones at John Knox Village Hospice House on July 14, 2016.

She is reunited in eternal peace with her loving husband Leslie Lynch. Survivors include her daughter Linda Lynch, son Ralph Lynch, both of Lee’s Summit Missouri, nieces Cindy and husband George Dunning of Grain Valley, Missouri, Pam and husband Jim Julian of New Hope, Minnesota, cousins Gordon Gunlock of Minnetonka, Minnesota, Rochelle Draper of Otisfield, Maine and Gary Gunlock of Yokohama, Japan. Maxine was a member of the Community of Christ Woods Chapel Congregation and resident of John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit Missouri. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends. She had a positive impact on many lives with her abundant kindness, sense of humor and giving spirit. She was the rock and “constant” in our family. She is greatly loved and will be greatly missed. We are blessed to have had her for our mother. Her love will follow us everywhere.

The family will hold a memorial service at the Woods Chapel Community of Christ, 500 NE Woods Chapel Road, Lee’s Summit, Missouri on Sunday, September 18, 2016, at 2:00 p.m.

Contributions may be made to the Woods Chapel Congregation or to Hospice House of John Knox Village.
