Lynne Adelle Frazier

April 10, 1947 — May 26, 2024

Lynne Adelle Frazier, a beloved homemaker, passed away on May 26, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born on April 10, 1947 in St. Joseph, Mo. to Orrice and Carol McCord.

Lynne met the love of her life at the tender of 15 on a blind date.  Four years later, on February 11, 1967, she married Roy, marking the beginning of a lifelong partnership. She would tell her children that Roy was her soulmate and who God intended her to marry.  Lynne was a graduate of Stewartsville High School and dedicated herself to creating a warm and loving home.

Described as a pillar of strength and the matriarch of her family, Lynne was known for her selfless and giving nature. Everyone who had the privilege of crossing paths with her instantly felt loved and appreciated. Her strong faith served as a guiding light in her life and inspired those around her.

In addition to her role as a devoted wife and mother, Lynne found joy in various hobbies and interests. She enjoyed traveling to new places, exploring different cuisines at restaurants, delving into history books and religious texts, cooking meals for her loved ones, and hosting gatherings that brought the family together. Lynne also had a soft spot for animals and shared a special bond with them throughout her life. Roy would always say that the animals were just drawn to her.

One of Lynne's proudest accomplishments was building a loving family grounded in faith. She tried to lead a daily life with Christ at the center and ingrain that example with her children and grandchildren.  Her dedication to her loved ones knew no bounds, and she instilled values of compassion, kindness, and togetherness in all those around her. Furthermore, Lynne made history by becoming one of many women ordained as a Priest, concluding as an Elder into the Community of Christ Church - a testament to her trailblazing spirit.

Lynne Adelle Frazier will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. While we mourn her passing, we take solace in the beautiful memories she has left behind and the everlasting impact she has had on our lives. May her soul rest in peace as she journeys onward to join our Heavenly Father.

Lynne is survived by her daughters, Kelli Gutscher and Kristin Davis; son, Mark Frazier (Tonya); grandchildren, Michael Gutscher (Stefanie), Matthew Gutscher, Chasity Graham (Ryan), Dylan Frazier (Shannon) and Kendall Davis; great-grandchildren, Chloe, Liam, Hayes, Joe, Raegann, Colton, Timber, Gatlin, John, Lowynn; sister, Kathleen Groner (Gene) and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Orrice and Carol and beloved husband, Roy.
