Fern Irene Lyons

Fern Irene Lyons, 76 of Mesa AZ., formerly of Buckner, MO, passed away, Wednesday, February 4, 2004 at her residence. The family will greet friends from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 7, at Speaks Suburban Chapel followed by a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Contributions may be made to RTA Hospice & Palliative Care, 1102 E. McDowell Phoenix, AZ 85006. Fern was born December 22, 1927 in Muskogee, OK to James O. and Rhua A. (Powell) Marsh. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and stained glass. She is survived by her husband Fred Lyons, 3 daughters, Judy Nagel of Lake Mary FL, Linda J. Bowen of Independence, MO and Louise Lyons of Prairie Village, KS; a brother, James W. Marsh of Prairie Village, KS; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
