Billy Madewell

Billy Rex Madewell, 62, Independence, MO passed away Nov. 1, 2005. Graveside services will be at 3 pm, Sat., Nov. 5, 2005 at Low Gap Cemetery, Low Gap, AR. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm, Friday at Speaks Suburban Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Low Gap Cemetery Fund. Rex was born Jan. 15, 1943 in Parthenon, AR. He graduated from Jasper High School and was a starter on the 1960 Arkansas State Champion Basketball team. Rex worked for the Missouri Dept. of Transportation for 38 years and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lee�s Summit (MO). He was a huge fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks. He was preceded in death by his parents C.C. & Murlie Madewell. Rex is survived by his wife Donna Madewell, of the home; daughter Melissa Stephens and husband Ryan, Lee�s Summit, MO; brother Tom Madewell, Yakima, WA; sisters Lucille Webb and husband Roy, Parthenon, AR; Hazel Harding and husband Tommy, Marble Falls, AR; brother Cob Madewell and wife Kathryn, Harrison, AR; and grandchildren Tanner & Harper Stephens.
