Cindy Sue Maley, a fearless woman, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on Friday, August 6, 2021. She was 66. Cindy was born to Samuel and Bonnie Anderson on February 6, 1955 in Independence, Missouri.
Shortly after graduating high school Cindy married her best friend David. They spent the next 45 years creating memories together. Cindy enjoyed traveling. Perhaps her favorite destination was Seattle, Washington. She also looked forward to their time together at the cabin at the Lake of the Ozarks, fishing and finding treasures at Cargo Largo. Cindy was very talented with needlepoint. She would create beautiful pieces for her family and friends. The most special gift she was known for creating recently was arm warmers for those going thru dialysis. Her gifts of kindness and love will forever be cherished. Cindy was also very proud of her recent decision to get baptized. Her faith was important to her. Cindy’s sweet spirit will live on and be missed greatly.
She is survived by her beloved husband, David; mother, Bonnie Anderson; brother, David Anderson (Sharlet); sister, Shari Allen and furry companions, Henry, Lucy, Sophie and Waldo.
Cindy was preceded in death by her father, Samuel and brother, Timothy Anderson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 14th at 6:30pm at the Church of Christ-Temple Lot, 200 S. River Blvd, Independence, Mo. 64050.
