Bernard Joseph Maloney, 77, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday April 21, 2004 at his residence. Private services. Bernard was born June 8, 1926 in Kansas City, MO to Edward and Hazel (Cooley) Maloney. Mr. Maloney is survived by his wife Margaret (Fiala) of the home; children Therese Shepherd and husband Dave, Daniel Maloney and wife Marsha all of Independence, MO, Jackie Greathouse and husband John of Lee�s Summit, MO; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters Joan Hawkins, Joyce Dujakovich; 1 brother Glen Maloney; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister.
