Jean D. Maness

Jean D. Maness, 86, of Independence, MO died on Saturday, April 15, 2006. Jean was born in Chillicothe, MO on April 23, 1919. She married William H. Maness on November 23, 1941, who preceded her in death in 1975. Jean worked for Western Auto in KC, MO from 1936-1945, and Lake City Arsenal from 1965-1974. She was a member of the Noland Road Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Michael and Patrick Maness, both of Independence. Visitation will be held at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Indep., MO, on Thursday, April 20, from 4-5:00 p.m. Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens located at Blue Ridge Blvd. and Gregory Blvd., KC, MO.
