Nancy J. Manners, 93, of Sugar Creek, passed away at her home Friday, October 24th. A visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 29th at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Following, a procession will take guests to Woodlawn Cemetery for her internment.
Nancy was born May 17, 1921 in Sugar Creek, MO. She was a member of St. Cyril’s Catholic Church and the Altar Society. The joys of Nancy’s life were her family and friends, her extensive travels, reading avidly, and expressing her creativity in arts and crafts.
Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Thomas Manners and a sister, Opal Montgomery. She is survived by her daughters, Marilyn (Randy Rutsky) and Christina; her brother, John Hix (Shirley); and many nieces and nephews.
