Mark Wesley Alumbaugh, 74 of Sibley, MO passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at his residence. Cremation is planned and a private family service will be held at a later date. Mark was born July 5, 1950 in Kansas City, Mo to Clarence and Elva L. (Murray) Alumbaugh and has been a lifelong area resident. He had worked as a tool setter for Lake City Ammunition Plant for over 33 years until he retired in 2012. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1968-70. He enjoyed watching westerns on TV, music, shooting guns and was an avid KC Chiefs fan. He is survived by; his wife Leta “Annette” Alumbaugh of the home; 2 daughters, Tammy House and husband Philip of Independence, MO and Michelle “Shelly” Alumbaugh of Independence, MO; a brother, Gari Alumbaugh of Brownington, MO and a granddaughter, Brooklyn Bowling.
