Velma Lucille Marsh

Velma Lucille Marsh, 79, of Independence, MO passed away September 8, 2005. Services will be 10 am Monday, September 12th at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 pm at the Chapel. A graveside service will be 3 pm Monday at Hosey Hill Cemetery, Weir, KS. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer�s Foundation or New Harvest Church Missions Fund. Velma was born March 14, 1926 in Kirkwood, KS to Wilson Gordon and Myrtle (Ebbs) Matson. She was a faithful and dedicated member of New Harvest Church of God. She worked for over 32 years at Calmar, Inc. Velma was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond D. Marsh; and 7 brothers. She is survived by her children, Delores Henderson of Raytown, MO, Jack Marsh of Harrisonville, MO, Carolyn Ayres of Friendswood, TX, Gloria Brockman of Independence, MO; 8 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; a brother, Charles Louis Matson of Independence, MO.
