Bryan Martin

Bryan Norman Martin, 57, of Oak Grove, MO, passed away, Monday, January 7, 2008 at his residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, January 11, 2008 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel with cremation to follow. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the chapel. Bryan was born May 17, 1950 in Independence, MO to James M. and Phyllis Jean (Larson) Martin and has been a lifelong area resident graduating from Truman High School in 1968. He enjoyed music and had played in several bands in his younger days. He had worked for the Community Blood Bank in Kansas City for a number of years as a delivery driver. Bryan is survived by; 3 sons, Bryan Martin, Jr., Jeremy Martin and wife Brianne and Jarrett Martin all of Independence, MO; 7 brothers, Dave Dotson of Overland Park, KS, Perry Martin of Kansas City, KS, Jim Martin of Gladstone, MO, Gary Martin of Gaston, SC, Steve Martin of Oak Grove, MO, Danny Noland of Sibley, MO and Tom Noland of Buckner, MO; 2 sisters, Tammy Noland of Oak Grove, MO and Joy McConnell of Independence, MO; 3 grandchildren, Colinn Martin, Katlyn Martin and Tate Martin and many aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by a grandson, Trenton Martin in 1999.
