Christopher Lee Martin

Christopher Lee Martin, 49, Kansas City, Mo. died June 26, 2005. Services will be 10 am, Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; interment at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Wed. at the funeral home. Chris was born Dec. 1, 1955 in Independence, Mo. where he lived most of his life. He was a maintenance supervisor for Colonial Square Homes for 18 years. He was also the drummer for the country band, "Granny�s Boys� for several years. Chris got great enjoyment from helping people in need. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert P. & Madeline R. Martin; and brothers Ray Joe Martin & David Martin. He is survived by his wife of 24 years Vickie Martin, and son R.J. Martin, both of the home; sisters Karen Woodall, and Connie Stuart, both of Sugar Creek, Mo; brothers Mike Martin and wife Nancy, Lee�s Summit, Mo; Danny Martin, Indep., Mo; and Bob Martin, Sugar Creek, Mo; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and many, many friends.
