Michelle C Martin

Michelle Carmen Martin of Lee’s Summit, MO died December 16, 2021. She was born in Kansas City, MO on April 10, 1947. She is survived by her sister-in-law Rae Walline and several nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles, her brothers Richard Walline and Russell Walline, and her parents Angelo and Delphine Bruno.
Mrs. Martin graduated from Southeast High School in Kansas City, MO in 1965. She received a bachelor’s degree in dietetics from the University of Central Missouri. She worked as a dietician with medical research participants.
She enjoyed antiques, making jewelry and spending time with Charles, her treasured friends and her cat Eddie. Despite her declining health, Michelle had a sharp wit and found humor in the small things. After Charles passed away nearly two years ago, she had the blessing of many friends who cared for her including Sharon Zeller, Judy Moran, Sharon Reynolds, Rose Marie Paris and Michelle Gold.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Michelle’s honor to Wayside Waifs.
Private burial services will be held with interment at Elmwood Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
