Susan E. "Su� Martin, 41, of Independence, MO passed away Saturday, October 22nd at her home. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 26th at St. Paul�s Lutheran Church, 17200 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the church. Cremation. Su was born May 23, 1964 in Kansas City, MO to Robert Lee and Shirley Ann (McQuerry) Blake. She was known for her care and compassion for others, as they were caring for her. Her attitude was always positive and has been described as being crazy as a bed bug. Su loved life! Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband of 12 years, Jeremy A. Martin; daughter Tara Martin, sons Jacob and Luke Martin; granddaughter Mary Kaidance Martin-White; parents Shirley and Marion (Poppy) Weatherford; sister Julie Lero and husband Patrick; father and mother-in-law Howard and Gena Martin; niece and nephews Megan, Brandon Phillips, Robert and Courtney White; great nephew and niece Camren and Taylor White; step siblings Deborah Rothrock, Mike, Phil and David Weatherford, Kathy Powell; and many special friends and family. Su was preceded in death by her father Robert Blake, sister Linda Blake and mother-in-law Sharon Martin. Her precious kitty-cat, Mouse also survives.
