Marty Clovis Martinez

Marty (Clovis) Martinez 83 passed away Peacefully on February 17, 2006 at the Blue Springs Care Center. Blue Springs, MO, with his family at his side. He was born on Oct 23, 1922 to Marcos and Lupita (Madrid) Martinez, in Canjelon New Mexico. Marty joined the army in 1943 and served as a MP during World War II. He retired in 1985 as a labor foreman and was a member of the Utah Labors Union Local 295. He was preceded in death by his sister, Stella Dean and brother Magin Martinez. He is survived by his spouse of 53 years, Jennie (Padilla) Martinez, brother Jerry Martinez, sister Priscilla Martinez, his daughter Peggy Friscia, Detroit, MI, son Steven Martinez, Seattle, WA, and son and daughter-in-law William and Nancy Martinez of Lee�s Summit, MO. Marty is also survived by his grandsons, Scott and Alejandro Martinez, granddaughters, Kamea Johnson and her husband Duane, and Kim Green. Great-granddaughter, Peyton and Dylan Johnson, and Trinity Martinez, all of Lee�s summit, MO. His children and grandchildren were his greatest joy in life. A funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am, Wed. Feb. 22, 2006 at St. Mark�s Catholic Church, 3736 S. Lee�s Summit Rd. Indep. MO 64055.
