Mary Elizabeth McElwain

Mary Elizabeth McElwain, born on January 3, 1964, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2024. She had a kind spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone she encountered. As a proud homemaker and dedicated momma, Mary found her greatest fulfillment in caring for her family, nurturing their dreams, and creating a warm and welcoming home.

 Growing up in a military family, Mary experienced a childhood filled with constant change and adventure as she relocated often. This upbringing shaped her and gave her a unique perspective on life. Her jovial personality shone brightly in every situation; she was known for her silly humor and light-hearted approach, making her a beloved presence to all who knew her. Mary never knew a stranger, often finding common ground and shared laughter with those around her.

 In her younger years, Mary shared countless moments riding motorcycles with her husband Steve which she cherished. These adventures on the open road were a testament to their bond and shared love for life. Additionally, Mary took great pleasure in feeding and watching the hummingbirds. She was captivated by their beauty and grace.

 Mary is survived by her beloved husband of 37yrs, Steve McElwain I; son, Steven McElwain II; mother, Margaret Nohacs; furry companions, Buckley and Atticus; and siblings, Margaret, Paul Jr., George and Linda. 

She is preceded in death by her brother, Michael. 

 Mary Elizabeth McElwain will be deeply missed, her warmth leaves a lasting legacy in the hearts of her family and friends.
