Vicki Lynn Matney-Hutsell

Vicki Lynn Matney-Hutsell, 65, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2020. Vicki was born on January 19, 1955 in Joplin, Missouri, to Leonard and Nellie Starchman. She married Edward Matney on September 19, 1970 and two children were born to this union: Nichole and Tressa. They divorced in 1977. She later met the love of her life John Hutsell, and they were married in 1978.

Vicki was a registered nurse for 40 years. She was also a loving wife, homemaker, and mother and loved taking care of her girls. Vicki was such an outspoken, bubbly vivacious woman who was always a straight-shooter and loved life. She also enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, dancing, tanning and gardening and she will be dearly missed.

Vicki is survived by her daughters Nichole and Tressa Matney; stepson Brandine Hutsell; sister-in-law-, Irene Berger; a dear granddaughter, Tori Nicole Lynch; beloved great-granddaughter, Aliya Lynn Lynch; sisters, brothers, granddaughters, grandsons and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her husband of 34 years, John R. Hutsell and parents Leonard and Nellie Mae Starchman.
