Michael Anthony Maturo, 58 passed away at his home in Grain Valley, MO, November 19, 2003. Services 10:00 am Monday, November 24, 2003 at Speaks Suburban Chapel with a Rosary services at 6:00 pm Sunday at the chapel with visitation from 6-8:30 pm Sunday at the chapel. Burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Contribution to St. Jude Hospital. Mr. Maturo was born December 10, 1944 in Kansas City, MO the son of Anthony J. and Mary Rose DeAngelo Maturo. Mike was the owner and operator of the Heart Drive In Theatre and Swap n Shop for over 30 years. He also operated the flea market in the Heart Bowling Alley. Mike married Nancy Elaine Larimore on May 26, 1975 and she survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. (Lee) Maryann Trusty, Liberty, MO, and Gina Maturo, Grain Valley, MO, one son, Ross Anthony Maturo, Grain Valley, MO, two sisters, Mrs. (Chris) Jacqueline Sager, North Kansas City, MO, and Mrs. (Carl) Geraldine Neidig, Gladstone, MO, 10 nieces and nephews and 8 great-nieces and nephews and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Mildred Larimore, Blue Springs, MO and one sister-in-law, Mrs. (Walt) Daina Little, Independence, MO. He was preceded in death by his parents.
