Sheila Mcavinew

Sheila J. McAvinew, 64, beloved Mother, was called to her eternal resting place on August 5, 2018. A visitation will be held Friday, August 17th from 6-7:00pm with a memorial service following at 7:00pm, both at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E 39th St.; Independence, MO 64055. She entered this world on April 14, 1954 in Barberton, OH, born to Virgil & Freda Morris. Sheila worked for Blue Cross & Blue Shield of KC for 30 years. She was an active member of the Quilter’s Guild and loved animals of all kinds. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and love her. Sheila is survived by her daughter Jessica (Bill) Beeler; grandchildren Isabella & Caleb Beeler; her son Brian McAvinew; and her sister Karen (Dave) Alexander.
