Janet Louise Mccarty (Snyder)

Janet McCarty, 65, of Lowry City, MO passed away November 5, 2017 in Blue Springs, MO. At her request cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be private at a later date. Janet was born in Clinton Missouri on March 26, 1952 to Johnnie and Kathryn Snyder. She was raised in Independence Missouri and graduated from William Chrisman High School. She worked for many years as a legal secretary on the square for Attorney Keith Wilson Jr. She was married to Orval Lee McCarty Jr and together they had one daughter Dana. Janet is preceded in death by her father Johnnie Snyder, her companion William Horton, and brother, Johnnie “Steven” Snyder. She leaves behind her loving mother Kathryn Snyder, her daughter Dana Drumheller, her son-in-law Chris, her grandchildren Katie and Christopher, her sister-in-law Shelia Snyder, siblings Danny Snyder and wife Brenda and Debbie Lipari, as well as many nieces and nephews. Janet will always be remembered by all that knew her for her compelling sense of humor.
