Shirley Frances Mcclain

Shirley Frances McClain, 83, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017, in Independence, Missouri. Shirley was born October, 24, 1934, to Allie and Minnie Agemy in Highland Park, Michigan. On March 24, 1956, Shirley married Kenneth B. McClain, and together they raised their three children in Brighton, Michigan. In 2005, Shirley moved to Independence, Missouri. Shirley is preceded in death by her parents and husband Ken. She leaves her sisters and brother: Joann Phillips, Barbara Butchko and Fred Agemy (Claudia); three children: Arnella Park (David), Kenneth B. McClain II (Cindy), Keith McClain (Stacie Robertson); nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, from 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 6, at 11:00a.m. at Gudgell Park Community of Christ Congregation, 500 E. Gudgell Ave, Independence, MO.
