Lois Virginia Mccullough

Lois Virginia (Huntsucker) McCullough, 70, Independence, Mo. passed away May 20, 2005 at Research Medical Center. Services will be 10 am, Wed., May 25, at Carson-Speaks Chapel; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 - 8 pm, Tuesday at the funeral home. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society. Lois was born March 4, 1935 in Independence, and was a 1953 graduate of William Chrisman High School. She later graduated from Southwest Baptist College in 1955. On Aug. 28, 1955 she married Joseph L. McCullough at the First Baptist Church of Independence. She was a charter member of Susquehanna Baptist Church where she was a member of the Thirty- Niners. Lois was also a member of the Independence Piece Makers Quilt Group. She was preceded in death by her father Edwin J. Huntsucker. Lois is survived by her husband of 49 years Joseph L. McCullough; her mother Lillian Huntsucker, both of Indep., Mo; daughters Karen DuBois and husband Joseph, Lawson, Mo; and Katrina McCullough, Indep,. Mo; son Kevin McCullough and wife Holly, Oak Grove, Mo; grandchildren Melissa Dieker and husband Craig; Nicole DuBois; Tyler McCullough; Josh Due; Andy Due; Robin Due; and Mikayla McCullough.
