Randall J. McDaniel, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 19, 2021. He was 70 years old. Randy was born to Samuel J. and Vyra Delphia (Marble) McDaniel on September 20, 1950 in Independence, MO.
After graduating from Van Horn High School in 1968, Randy joined his brother and father at McDaniel Furnace and Sheet Metal. Randy was a sensitive soul. He enjoyed music, appreciated art, and had a talent for writing poetry. You could often find Randy observing the nature surrounding his home, watching a good western, smoking a brisket, and spending time with his buddies.
Randy is survived by his children, daughter, Sierra McDaniel, and son, Blake (Carrie) McDaniel; 4 grandchildren, Zayne, Wesley, Wilson and Leia, 2 great grandchildren, Aubrie and Aspen with 2 great grandchildren on the way; sister, Barbara (Frank) Phelps; and sister-in-law, Darlene McDaniel; and his beloved kitty, Ernie.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Vyra, and his brother, Sam McDaniel.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, June 28, 2021 from 6-8 p.m. and memorial service to take place 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 29, 2021, both taking place at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64050.
