Vyra D. Mcdaniel

Vyra D. McDaniel, 84 of Versailles, MO passed away Sun., Dec. 14, 2003 at St. Mary�s Hospital in Jefferson City, MO. Graveside Services will be 1:00 pm, Wed. Dec. 17, 2003 at Floral Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm at the Speaks Midtown Chapel. Contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association. Mrs. McDaniel was born on Nov. 26, 1919 to Martin and Phoeba (Hugill) Marble in Sugar Creek, MO and had been a lifelong area resident until moving to Versailles, MO twenty years ago. She had been a loving homemaker and a co-owner of S. J. McDaniel Furnace and Sheet Metal Co. for many years. She was a member of the Family Worship Center Pentecostal Church. Mrs. McDaniel was preceded in death by her husband, Sam J. McDaniel in 1988. She is survived by two sons, Sam McDaniel and wife Darlene and Randy McDaniel, all of Independence, MO. One daughter, Barbara Phelps and husband Frank, of Versailles, MO. One sister, Mona Thompson of Independence, MO. Nine grand children and one great granddaughter.
