Ethan Scott Mcdowell

Ethan Scott McDowell, 18, of Independence, MO passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2003. A memorial service will be 2 pm Sunday, June 29th at Village Heights Community of Christ. The family will greet friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Red Cross. Ethan was born August 6, 1984 in Leon, IA. He was a 2003 graduate of Fort Osage High School, and worked during summers in Park Services at Worlds of Fun. Ethan is survived by his brother, Aaron Todd McDowell of Sumter, SC; mother, Margaret McDowell; maternal grandfather, Ronald E. Manuel, all of Independence, MO; uncle, Evan Manuel and wife Mary Jo of Blue Springs, MO; father, Rodney L. McDowell of Kansas City, MO paternal grandparents, Howard & Elizabeth McDowell of Independence, MO; aunts & uncles, Deb Eckelbarger, Bob & Helen McDowell, Cheryl & Dennis Johnson of CA; and cousins.
