Martha Faye McGonigle, 65 of Sugar Creek, MO passed away Friday evening at her residence. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m., to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, June 26, 2021, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO followed by a graveside inurnment service at 3:00 p.m. at the Post Oak Cemetery, near 22955 Majorville Rd., Warsaw, MO (cemetery located on the right, before address).
Martha was born July 5, 1955, in Kansas City, MO to Hoarse “Dale” and Ione Lucille (Peterson) Hudgens Dunn and has been a lifelong area resident.
Martha worked in the banking and mortgage industry for over 14 years. She also had a calling in life to care for those in need, she was a caretaker and companion for several families over the years. Martha enjoyed spending time at the lake with her family and friends, flower gardening and most of all spending time with her grandsons. She will be missed dearly.
Her survivors include her husband, Don of the home; daughter, Adrianne Parr and husband Chris of Basehor, KS; grandsons, Will and Calvin Parr; sisters, Jeanette Timmerman and husband Ed of Independence, MO, and Wanda Hodges and husband Dennis of Lone Jack, MO; and brother, John Hudgens and wife Shirley of Excelsior Springs, MO.
