Clarice Mckay

Clarice Lorraine McKay, 86, of Independence, MO, passed away, Friday, October 12, 2007 at the Rehabilitation Center of Independence. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 16, 2007 at the Mound Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. Clarice was born January 17, 1921 in Sioux City, IA to George W. and Donner D. (Rich) Kroesen. She was a homemaker, secretary and had also worked for a bank. She was very musical and enjoyed playing the drums and singing. She also enjoyed knitting and writing poetry. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church. She is survived by; a son, Danny McKay and wife Shirley of Kingsville, MO; 2 daughters, Kathleen McKee and her husband Harold and Sheryl Barreto all of Blue Springs, MO; a brother, George Delmer Kroesen of Oak Grove, MO; 6 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
