Mary Pauline Mckinney

Mary McKinney, 80, of Independence, MO passed away on October 24, 2006 at the Regency Care Center. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 28, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO 64052. The service will follow in the chapel at 10:00 a.m. Burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Mary was a mother and homemaker most of her life. For a while, she did work for Diamond Bowl of Independence. She loved her family, and took great pride in their accomplishments. Mary was a generous and outgoing person with a great sense of humor. She appreciated the "little� things in life. She loved her pets, and was a good friend to many. She will be truly missed. Mary was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, John Wesley McKinney; parents, Paul McCalmon and Hattie Scrogham. She is survived by a son, John Paul McKinney; two grandsons, John Paul McKinney II and wife Paula, and Jason Lee McKinney and wife Laura; two great grandchildren, Leena and Anna McKinney; brother, Virgil McCalmon and wife Marolyn of Denver City, TX; and stepmother, Winnie Kindler of Powell, WY.
