Nadine J. McLain, 82, of Independence, MO passed September 12, 2013. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, September 16, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 17, at Cain Cemetery in Mercer County, MO. Nadine was born March 22, 1931 in Princeton, MO to James O. and Eva B. (Johnson) Runyan. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Loyd W. McLain; three children, Thomas O. McLain, Bruce and wife Rosemary McLain, Shawn Pollock; as well as two grandchildren; Thom Adkins and Daniel Gwadera and wife Baylee; five step grandchildren, Tisa Wright, Tamara Shoemake, Craig, Christopher and Clifford Sharp; twelve great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
