Robert A. "Bob" Mcmenemy

Robert A. “Bob” McMenemy, 75, Independence, MO passed away June 29, 2017. Services will be 10 am, Thursday, July 6 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055; interment at Mt. Washington Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Wed. at the chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to St. Luke’s Hospice, 3516 Summit St, Kansas City, MO 64111 or the charity of your choice.
Bob was born Jan. 12, 1942 in Kansas City, MO and graduated from East High School. He worked at Burns and McDonnell for thirty years until his retirement in 2010. He was a member of St. Mark’s United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Ivanhoe Masonic Lodge #446 where he was a Past Master and the Ararat Shrine. He was a handy man who could fix anything and enjoyed fishing and NASCAR.
Bob is survived by his wife of fifty-four years Jackie McMenemy, of the home; sons Sean McMenemy and wife Tammy, Lombard, IL; Seth McMenemy and wife Angie, Kansas City, MO; sisters Linda McMenemy and Mary McMenemy, both of Mission, KS and grandson Ethan McMenemy. We would like to thank St. Luke’s Hospice’s entire staff for their excellent care and compassion.
