Timmy C. “Tim” McMichael, 55 of Oak Grove, MO passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the First Baptist Church in Oak Grove, 400 SE 14th St, Oak Grove MO 64075. Burial with full military honors will follow in Shore Cemetery near Oak Grove, MO. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. Tim was born August 12, 1962 in Maryville, MO to Curtis B. and Elma K. (Nelson) McMichael. He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1981, received his Bachelor of Science in Management and Human Resources and his Masters in Public Affairs from Park University. He proudly served in the US Army from 1982 until his retirement in 2007. Most recently he was a Risk Manager for Midwest Public Risk since 2014. He enjoyed golf, playing Call of Duty, fishing, bowling, playing and refereeing volleyball, and watching movies. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Oak Grove, the American Legion and the F.O.E in Oak Grove, MO. Survivors include; 2 daughters, Cierra McMichael of Kansas City, Samantha Dodge of Odessa MO; 2 sons, Sterling McMichael of Oak Grove, MO and Chase McMichael of Kansas City, MO; his former spouse, Marie McMichael of Kansas City, MO; a grandson, Elliott James Green; a sister, Kathie Kocha and husband Ron of Branson and a brother, Lonnie Morgan of Branson, MO.
