Harold Wayne McNaul, 85 of Concordia, formerly of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at the Western Missouri Medical Center in Warrensburg, MO. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, February 10, 2014 at the Speaks Buckner Chapel. Burial with full military honors will be in Buckner Hill Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 5 to 7:00 pm Sunday, February 9, 2014 at the chapel. As a life long dog lover donations may be made in his name to the Lee’s Summit Animal Shelter or to Wayside Waifs. Mac was born December 6, 1928 in Kansas City, MO to Walter L. and Neva (Ellis) McNaul and has been a lifelong resident of Jackson County. He grew up in Atherton and graduated from Halls Memorial High School in 1946. He proudly served in the US Air Force during the Korean Conflict from 1951-55. He and his business partner, Richard “Dick” Digby founded Digby & McNaul Building Contractors which they operated for 40 years until they retired in 1991. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and vegetable gardening. He was a member of the Christian church and the American Legion. He is survived by; his loving wife of 65 years, Joanna of the home; 2 daughters, Debra Lee Delana of Concordia, MO and Carrie Ann McNaul of Bedford, TX; 5 grandchildren, Ann Welner, Jennifer DePee, Sara Delana, Toni Delana and Andy McNaul and 4 great grandchildren.
