Jerry Mcniel

Jerry D. McNiel, 70, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away January 2, 2013. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. followed by a 10:00 a.m. service on Saturday, January 5, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Jerry was born August 28, 1942 in Purdy, MO. He had worked over 30 years as a barber at Plaza Hair Design. Jerry was an avid horseback rider and loved music. He was the youngest member in the Musicians Union. He is survived by his loving wife Billie (McVay) McNiel; four children, Ed McNiel, Stephanie McNiel, Brooks McNiel and Bill Berry; four grandchildren, Brandon McNiel, Steven McNiel, Jack Berry and Cooper Berry.
