Jason Mathew McPherson, 49 of Independence, MO passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at North Kansas City Hospice House. Cremation was held and there will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2022 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. The family will welcome friends and family for a celebration in remembrance of Jason from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening, July 22, 2022 at the chapel. Jason was born July 22, 1972 in Independence, MO to James Michael and Earlene (Plummer) McPherson. He has been a life-long area resident graduating from Raytown High School in 1991. He had worked as a mechanic most of his life most recently for Stadium Auto. He enjoyed his work and spending time with his family. He is survived by; his son, James Michael “Jimmy” McPherson of Kansas City, MO; his parents, James Michael and Earlene McPherson of Independence, MO and a brother, Shawn Zander of Independence, MO.
