Patricia Lou Mead

Patricia L. “Pat” Mead, 85, of Grain Valley, MO, passed away January 5, 2018. A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, January 10, 2018, from 10-11:00am with a service following at 11:00am both at Colonial Hills Community of Christ, 3539 MO-7, Blue Springs, MO 64014. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date at Valley Cemetery in Valley, NE.
Pat was born March 30, 1932 in Schuyler, NE and graduated from Valley High School in Valley, NE in 1949. She lived in Ainsworth, NE for 15 years. After the death of her husband, she then moved to Lamoni, IA and lived for 22 years working for Graceland University in the accounting department. She was also a long time member of Community of Christ, most recently of the Colonial Hills Congregation in Blue Springs. Pat is preceded in death by her parents Jacques Tedrow and Mildred (Holoubek) Vondracek and her husband, Herbert. She is survived by her children, Kerri Booth (John) of Liberty, Mindy Day (Edwin) of Grain Valley, John Mead of Ainsworth, NE, Stazie Church (Scott) of Stanton, TX and Jenny Kramer (Jeff) of Harrisonville; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren with one on the way. Memorial contributions can by made in her honor to Kansas City Hospice or Outreach International.
