Myrna Meads

Myrna Meads, 77, of Independence, MO passed away November 21, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. A Memorial Visitation will be from 5-7pm November 27, 2018 at Carson-Speaks Chapel. Myrna was born on April 26, 1941 in Courtney, MO to Pleas and Helen (Pfeister) Hubbard. She retired from Integrity Home Health where she enjoyed caring for others. Her lifelong passion was horseback riding and collecting all things horse and Indian related. Myrna’s love of animals also extended to dogs, always having one by her side. She also enjoyed reading in her spare time. Myrna will be missed by her family and many friends. Survivors include her partner of 10 years Elmer Dye, a large extended family and many friends. Myrna is preceded in death by her parents Faye and Tubby Hubbard, daughter Kim Wuellner and her brother Gary Hubbard. The family request memorial donations to Animal’s Best Friend or Cancer Action in memory of Myrna.
