Letha Elizabeth Medek (Hammond)

Letha Medek, 92, of Independence, MO passed September 21, 2019. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm on Wednesday, September 25, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Services at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the Suburban Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Letha was born August 27, 1927 in Rushville, MO to Archie and Anna (Vance) Hammond. She was married to, and later preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Medek. She is survived by her son, Wes Medek of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughter, Jaime Brown and husband Jason; and special niece, Edna Groom and husband Morris. She will be dearly missed.
