R. Lyle Medley

R. Lyle Medley, 91, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, November 7, 2005 at Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 11th at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO 64052. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday in the chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Lyle was born January 14, 1914 in Kansas City, MO to Herman and Dora (Barnett) Medley. Mr. Medley was a quiet man who enjoyed reading and listening to music in his spare time. Lyle is survived by his wife of 57 years, Anna Belle (Lanning) Medley; daughters and sons-in-law Peggy and Rodney Pair, Karen and Dave Pulver; sons and daughters-in-law Robert and Janet Turley, Ronald and Vicki Turley; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren.
